I would pay real money for a physical version of this pixel art. The detail is brain breaking

Thanks so much! I do sell prints of my works over at https://moer.tel/shop, even animated ones. This one will hit the shop in 2-3 weeks.
thats probably your best work
i am surprised at to how well this one did lol
was he doin?
ehhhhhh..... killing? as always?
why are they looking at me like that? They are scaring me
Just keep browsing XD
I like it but you should have had more variety of the sky in the bland colors of the sky. Also, I would love more shading on the golden temple. Overall it's good but not your best work
Yeah, but at least I gained experience for future draws. So at least I will make a better job!
so what you did is uhh. Start with the black outline of your fella. Then make the bland colors without the shading. Then you take off the outline and then you shade. But how. It does look like it's dithering but then there are just other pixels that are put there But then how do you know the parts you should and not shade. There is litterly a big change when talking about the machine and the lighting is complete insanity. Conclusion: I genuinely don't know. As a pixel artist myself who draws characters with simple shading caring more about the design I would not get this type of shading on anything i have made. Because it's seriously the most mind-boggling type of shading, lighting, and then just like HOW. I just don't know. The only thing i do know is that you didi use mirror so at least i got you there
Now why would I remove the lineart? This is pixelart, I can just draw right on top of something and it wont leave a trace of what was there before.
I think the main gap in your understanding is that of anti-aliasing.
I am working on a pretty comprehensive set of tutorials of which I have already uploaded two parts. Do check em out if you want to learn how I make my art.
one thing I dont like about your art is really the linework. It doesn't feel natural. But hey. Xin is still an epic gamer
Agreed! Ive been working with the line art more now.
I wanted to get better at poses and proportions, next is getting the line art to look more natural, and then hopefully getting around to messing with the coloring once Im a bit more comfortable with my linework ^^;
And then repeating the cycle all over again to keep improving :-]
how do you make this
Magic ;) Or you could read my tutorials to find out :P Two are posted, but many more to come.
